Coach Tim DeLouise
Timothy "Coach Tim" DeLouise is the founder and head coach of Blue Line Wrestling Academy, established in 2024. A lifelong wrestler, coach, veteran, and law enforcement professional, Coach Tim has dedicated nearly 30 years to the sport of wrestling and more than two decades to coaching and mentoring young athletes.
Coach Tim first stepped onto the wrestling mat at the age of eight with the Vineland Wrestling Association. He continued wrestling through Vineland Middle School and Vineland High School, where he earned the title of 2006 District 31 Champion.
While still in high school, Coach Tim began volunteering with the Vineland Wrestling Association, helping coach younger wrestlers. What started as volunteer work quickly became a lifelong passion for developing young athletes and giving back to the program that helped shape him.
After graduating high school, Coach Tim enlisted in the United States Air Force and deployed to Iraq from 2007 to 2008 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Following his military service, he returned home, continued coaching, and began his career with the Vineland Police Department in 2009, where he proudly serves today as a Detective.
In 2015, Coach Tim officially joined the Vineland High School Wrestling coaching staff before becoming Head Coach of the Vineland Wrestling Association in 2017. Over the years, he has coached hundreds of wrestlers, helping athletes of all ages build confidence, discipline, technical skill, and character both on and off the mat.
Beyond wrestling, Coach Tim has dedicated much of his professional career to teaching and mentoring others. He has earned certifications as a Police Academy Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Physical Fitness Instructor, and Field Training Officer, while completing extensive instructor development in leadership, teaching methods, communication, lesson planning, athlete safety, and performance-based training. Those experiences continue to influence the structured coaching philosophy used throughout Blue Line Wrestling Academy.
In 2024, Coach Tim founded Blue Line Wrestling Academy with the vision of creating a training environment where wrestlers receive quality instruction, individualized attention, and opportunities to grow both as athletes and as people. Every practice is built around the belief that wrestling is about more than winning matches—it's about developing Discipline, Determination, Dedication, and Resilience, qualities that extend far beyond the wrestling mat.
Away from the wrestling room, Coach Tim is a devoted husband and father of three. As both a coach and a wrestling parent, he understands the commitment, sacrifice, and trust that families invest in the sport. Watching his own children grow through wrestling has further strengthened his belief that the lessons learned on the mat—discipline, confidence, resilience, and respect—prepare young athletes for success both in competition and in life.
Today, Coach Tim continues to serve his community both professionally and through the sport he has loved since childhood. Whether working with a beginner learning their first stance or an experienced wrestler preparing for the next level, his mission remains the same: to help every athlete reach their full potential while building the confidence, character, and work ethic that will serve them long after their wrestling career ends.
